General Body Meeting - First of The New Fiscal Year

Get ready for our biggest general body meeting yet! We're kicking off our "Golden Couriers" mail initiative and meeting at the Enoch Pratt Free Library (Central Location). Look for an email with directions to the auditorium closer to the date. #bmoreaggie #baltimoreaggies #ncat #aggiesdo

The 'Greatest Homecoming on Earth' Homecoming Game Tickets - A Follow Up

Despite petitioning for more game tickets, we were told by the ticket office, back in July, that their hands were tied. The Athletic Ticket office and Alumni Relations made sure to only provide an allotment of tickets per chapter. Our 25 homecoming tickets sold out last month. In response, we've created our own "Baltimore Aggie" event list for homecoming, featuring an Aggie Pop-Up with a new chapter partner and Mimosa Madness with DJ Cuffie!

Looking ahead, we're already planning for A&T's 100th homecoming next year. Join the discussion at our next general body meeting and help us formulate a plan of action.

Ziyah Armwood: A Baltimore Blue Story

After being sent her request by a member of the chapter, Ziyah also followed the chapter IG account, the Chapter President, and the Community Chairwoman requesting fin. aid assistance. After verifying her status as an student, the President kicked off the aid with a $1000 contribution to which she could finally enroll in payment plans. Shortly after, another alum matched him. We then had her on IG live to tell her story and so much love has been shared since. Tap the link below to view it!

If you would like to contribute to her AggieOne account, tap the link below and use our PayPal account to donate. We are an authorized user on her account and can make direct payments to it through the Treasurers office. Leave a note that it is for Ziyah Armwood's Financial Aid AAAND leave another note for what you would like us to put for your contribution when we make the installment!

Executive Board Inauguration/Retreat

The new executive board, after having the inauguration with the general body, conducted their retreat/meeting in the harbor of Baltimore. Highlights of the meeting included meeting cadence, the chapter crab feast, Fall semester vs. Spring semester focuses, Office of Career services partnership, the return of two fundraisers plus a new one, Golden Couriers kick off (due to acquiring a non-profit USPS account - significant decrease in postage mail prices), and the black farmers - refocusing on the "A" in A&T.

All paid membership will receive the meeting minutes of this retreat which has greater detail with to-do's as follow-on's.

HBCU & Divine 9 Night

Dear Baltimore NCAT alumni chapter,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ronda W. , and I’m a proud mom of a Aggie class of ‘24 Graduate. Last year, I attended HBCU/D9 Night at the Baltimore Orioles game and noticed there were very few Aggies present—and unfortunately, the University didn’t have any official representation.
This year, I’m excited to share that I have an inside track to the event! HBCU/D9 Night will be held at Camden Yards during the Orioles vs. Yankees game this September, and I would love to see a strong Aggie presence in the stands.
It’s a family-friendly event with plenty of pregame (starts at 5 with bands and stroll battle) and in-game festivities. They are also working on a special menu at the concession stand to honor the HBCU D9 night theme.
This is a wonderful opportunity for alumni, family, and friends to come together and show Aggie pride.
