The Weekly 'Motion'

If you are receiving this e-mail, this means you have expressed interest in joining the membership committee! This committee is responsible for the social aspect of the chapter such as the Aggie Hour event series, A&T tailgates, the newly installed Aggies Run & Cookout series, and the oncoming Roll Bounce & Skate event.

The membership committee is what connects all Aggie's in the Greater Baltimore metropolitan area.

The goal for from 2023-2025 was always to re-kindle the fire, so to speak, amongst Aggies to unify again in Baltimore. Combining social activities with a call-to-action has bolstered us to where we are now. Moving forward, we have a new objective, that the Chapter President calls "Each One, Reach One". For every Aggie you know, or you may see that you don't know, reach out to them and engage with them while sharing with them things we have coming up!

Per recent discussions in the pre-liminary general body meeting, then the announcement in the meeting, we will begin requesting for "county leads" to act as the point of contact to bring Aggies together for meetings so that not all Aggies have to come to Baltimore City, but rather, connect locally and then come together at a central location at a later time. Please us the form below to tell us which county you belong to.

Events Led By The Committee Winter-Summer FY25

134TH A&T Birthday Celebration

March 9, 2025 at 12 P.M., we will be holding a celebration of our alma mater at Seasons 52 in Columbia, MD. We mainly need you to promote and direct people to our chapter website to RSVP for it. The ticket will come in a follow-up email post RSVP.

Also, how can we honor A&T and long standing members of our chapter?

Aggies Run & Cookout w/Friends

March 22, 2025 at 11 A.M., a new installment, for a health effort many have asked for, we will do a 5K around Lake Montebello. We will have food being cooked while doing it and supporters of our chapter will be with us as well from SGHro of Morgan State, to Howard University, and the likes of others! Kids are welcome too!

Aggie Hour Series

This favorite installment is led by us. The next one is April 10, 2025 at 5 P.M., this time with the focus on highlighting a Aggie Owned business - a business shower (like a baby shower but for a business). Know a business that should be highlighted? Where should we go next?

Aggie Sunday Service

Soon to be in collab with the chaplain, this installment was very well received and pushed to continue as other Aggies came of all generations to then discover our chapter! Next one is April 13, 2025. Speak with Kierra on how to assist.

Baltimore Howard Alumni Club VS. Baltimore A&T Alumni Chapter Bowling Exhibition II

Happening April 25, 2025, part 2 was desired before part 1 even happened. This has comeback with the Baltimore Club of Howard fully on-board. We will be selecting a third group to participate this time. Want to be a part of the fun in promoting this? Reply to this email with an Aggie Pride!

Roll, Bounce, and Groove Skating Party

The long rumored skating party has now a date. To be held at Shake 'n' Bake, the event is project to debut May 17, 2025 starting a 7:30 P.M. It is to be "ATL meets Roll Bounce" (the movies). Get your skating group, 70s/80s outfits, and prepare to showdown or simply shout out!
